🌿 Laundry Powder🌿

Did you know your skin absorbs up to 60% of what it comes into contact with — including residues left behind by your laundry detergent? As your body’s largest organ, your skin does more than protect you — it takes in what touches it. That’s why what you wash your clothes with matters.

🌿Ingredients:

🌿Sodium Tallowate (Refined Beef Tallow Soap)
A gentle soap made from purified beef tallow. Known for its skin-loving fatty acids, it not only lifts away dirt and grease naturally but also conditions fabric fibers — leaving clothes soft and residue-free. It’s especially great for sensitive skin, providing a deep clean without synthetic additives.

🌿Super Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate)
A natural mineral salt that boosts cleaning power by breaking down grime, neutralizing odors, and softening water. It helps the soap rinse cleaner and prevents buildup, keeping both your clothes and your skin free from irritants.

🌿Borax (Sodium Borate)
This naturally occurring mineral acts as a powerful deodorizer and stain remover. It helps balance pH, fights mold and mildew, and enhances the effectiveness of soap — all without harsh chemical residues.

🌿Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
Soothes and protects the skin while working as a natural deodorizer and gentle abrasive. It balances pH and lifts away odors and oils, leaving clothes (and your skin) feeling fresh and clean.

🌿Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate)
Rich in magnesium, which may have calming and anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. In your laundry, it helps soften fabrics naturally and reduces static cling — no dryer sheets needed.

2TBSP/ Load! You can use more or less depending on your scent preference.

Laundry Soap was the hardest natural swap for us. I wanted something that didn’t have artificial ingredients, surfactants, and chemicals in it, without sacrificing the scent. (Scent beads were so hard to give up! They are so bad for you, and your clothes though!) UNTIL I figured out how to make my own! We have been using this recipe for about a year now, and I couldn’t be happier! 🙂
